本次《信长之野望：大志 威力加强版》将在原作《信长之野望：大志》的基础上新增许多新的游戏设定，本次便公布了新增的“攻城战”游戏系统情报，从游戏截图来看攻城战将围绕“攻城方针”与“命令”两方面展开，玩家可以考虑使用“强攻”与“水淹”的暴力夺取城池也可以通过“包围”与“谈判”这样的温和方式说服敌人投降，丰富多样的攻城方式将极大的提升了本作的战略性。
