在《魔法门10：传承》中，你将会控制四人冒险小队，卷入Karthal中纷繁复杂的政治党派斗争中，这座城市已经处在崩溃的边缘，成为了各派竞争的牺牲品。你的行动将会决定它的命运。
《魔法门10：传承》中玩家将会创建并率领自己的小队进入这个动荡的世界，与强力的神话生物战斗，掠取远古遗留下来的财宝。据称游戏将会带来经典的第一人称RPG单机游戏体验。
不必说，游戏将会使用回合制的战斗系统，玩家通过打败怪物或者Boss来完成任务，满是陷阱的在地城，城市和迷宫中探险。
